The Drinks Bureau Valentine's Day "Shirley" Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1. The Valentine’s Day "Shirley" Competition (the "Competition") is run by The Drinks Bureau Ltd
("the Promoter"), whose registered office is at Unit V Springhead Road,
Northfleet, Gravesend, England, DA11 8HN, Company reg: 14678345.
1.2. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
2.2. Entrants must be able to provide proof of age (18+) through a government-issued ID shown on a video call.
2.3. Employees of The Drinks Bureau, their immediate family members, or
anyone professionally connected with the Promoter are not eligible to
enter.
2.4. Only entries submitted before the closing date, as stated in the Competition announcement, will be considered.
3. How to Enter & Winner Selection
3.1. To win a free four-pack of Shirley Temple or Dirty Shirley canned cocktails, participants must prove that their first name or surname is legally "Shirley".
3.2. Proof must be provided via a live video verification as outlined in Section 5.
3.3. Only one entry per person is permitted.
3.4. The Promoter reserves the right to limit the number of winners and allocate prizes on a first-come, first-served basis or through a random selection if necessary.
4. Competition Period
4.1. The Competition opens on 9am on 01/02/2025 and closes at 11:59pm 28/02/2025 (the “Closing Date”).
4.2. Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be valid.
5. Name & Age Verification Process
To ensure fairness and compliance, entrants must complete a live video verification session, where they will:
5.1. Show their face and government-issued ID (passport or driving licence) to verify that:
Their legal name includes "Shirley" (as a first name, middle name, or surname).
They are aged 18 or over.
5.2. Once verified, the Promoter will collect the entrant’s email address and send them a one-time code.
5.3. This one-time code can then be used to claim their free four-pack of Shirley Temple or Dirty Shirley canned cocktails.
6. Prize Details
6.1. Each verified winner will receive one four-pack of either:
Shirley Temple canned cocktails, valued at £12, OR
Dirty Shirley canned cocktails, valued at £15.
6.2. The Promoter reserves the right to determine which product variant is awarded based on availability.
6.3. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
7. Use of Entries & Winner Publicity
7.1. By entering the Competition, participants agree that The Drinks Bureau may use their entry, name, and details of their win for promotional purposes.
7.2. This includes but is not limited to social media posts, website content, and other marketing materials.
7.3. No additional compensation will be provided for this use.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1. The Promoter is committed to protecting participants' privacy and complying with GDPR regulations.
8.2. Any personal data provided will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and verifying eligibility.
8.3. The Promoter will not store, share, or retain any verification documents once the identity check is complete.
8.4. Email addresses will only be used for the purpose of sending the
one-time code and will not be used for marketing unless the entrant opts
in.

9. General Terms
9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
9.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition at any time without prior notice.
9.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
